For a magical education, meditation is immensely helpful. It aids all areas used by the magical person, acting like a work-out for the mind. The most compelling benefits from Meditation are:
Improved Concentration – When have you ever felt like you’re able to concentrate too much? Never, right? We can use improved concentration all the time. It helps us remember things, generates more productivity, allows us to focus more fully on social relationships, and increases our ability to communicate with one another- to mention a few daily benefits.
Better Health – Much of our goal here at the Conservatory of Magic is to provide guidelines that will increase your health, both in your body and in your mind. Healthy magic is good magic is strong magic! The better you feel, the better you’ll be at making spells or manipulating objects.
Inner-Knowledge – As you develop meditation skills, you will come to know your body and your mind better. This will allow you the ability to access certain memories, certain parts of your brain faster and with more ease. You will be able to check in with your body to tell if something is ailing you or is off, or is feeling really great. Attuning yourself to yourself gives you the confidence to know what you want and how to get it.
Less Stress – An amazing benefit to meditation. It has been shown to reduce stress and lengthen life– just by meditating! A great bonus to the necessity of this for the course.
As you begin and continue, you will find more ways that meditation will benefit you. It’s nice to keep a note of these in a journal – just so you can see how something you’re doing is doing good for you.
